My appointment went horribly wrong
I finally got in to see this DR. at this world renowned institution . Not only did it take two months to see this guy but when I finally get there I get all teary eyed .. I promised myself not to cry when I got there but I couldn't help it! I was so sure I would get the help I needed.
The dr. First sends an intern who has no clue, it was her first day.
The give me this questionnaire about my odor and sweat issues and the tears start up again.
It was basically playing my life story back when it asked me about my issues with odor and ppls reactions to it...
The dr comes in and tells me that the issues I'm having are a disease.
It is not normal and he is trying to get insurance companies to recognize it as a disease so more ppl can get this treatment plan he has invested in.
This treatment plan cost $3000 per treatment and ppl need about 3 but insurance doesn't cover it because it doesn't recognize odor as a disease.
He started with his jolly sales pitch.
Videos and testimonials etc.
So I ask him what did he do for his pts before
This new treatment , he says surgery.
He say surgery is covered by insurance but it's no guarantee .
His treatment plan had the same level of success but
He needed more ppl to do the treatment plan so he could convince the insurance companies
At my expense . Really?
What happened to drs who want to help patients no matter what !
So freakin disappointed !!!!!
