Re compass magic

Hi I'm having an issue with the rings I've purchased. They came unglued and came out of the holder rings> Now I don't know how to fix them and I'm not sure which is north or south. I thought that south always goes on the left pinky? North on the right. I'm very confused. Please tell me. When I put the magnet by the compass. the needle should go to the south or north and if it goes to the south does that mean that the magnet has a north pol We almost need a drawing or video to see this. It's a bit confusing and I don't want to make mistakes since the rings can be detrimental if worn wrongly. Thanks for your help. Tweet
