Natural Cures for Chronic Bronchitis

My friend has chronic bronchitis and is looking for natural ways to get rid of it. She's very sick and has been coughing nearly uncontrollaby. It also hurts for her to talk because her lungs feel so beat up. She is allergic to cigarette smoke (she doesn't smoke).
