American Academy of Pediatrics Attacks Raw Milk

The assault on raw milk continues. As more and more Americans find out about this whole, perfect food and attempt to access it, industry titans are scrambling to quell the rebellion. And the American Academy of Pediatrics is coming to their aid, endorsing a nationwide ban. As of now, only 30 states are allowed to sell raw milk and raw milk products.

The AAP – just like the other mainstream “academies and associations” – is working on behalf of the food-pharmaceutical complex. Big dairy producers and pharmaceutical companies want to eliminate choice in the marketplace, not by selling a better product, but by outlawing choices, until there’s only one choice, one crappy choice – pasteurized swill and the drugs people take to counteract the effects of poor nutrition.

The AAP claims that the nutritional benefits of raw milk aren’t backed by “evidence-based” studies, that it’s all a bunch of quackery. But who’s the real quacker?

Science or marketing?

In 2009, former editor–in–chief of the New England Journal of Medicine Marcia Angell admitted that the “evidence-based” studies published in her former publication and most other “scientific” journals are totally unreliable:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”

In her bombshell article, Drug Companies and Doctors: A Story of Corruption, she documents how doctors and scientists are bought and paid for by Big Pharma.

“Clinical trials are also biased through designs for research that are chosen to yield favorable results for sponsors,” she writes.

When the former editor-in-chief of a medical journal as prestigious as the New England Journal of Medicine says the studies published in it and other medical journals are scandalously manipulated to make dangerous drugs look safe and effective, why would we trust studies cited by the American Academy of Pediatrics, which is surely bought off by the same pharmaceutical companies who see real milk, and real food in general, as a competitive threat to their drugs?

So, is there any organization worth trusting, where sound, nutritional information is available?

The Weston A. Price Foundation

I have been a big supporter of the Weston A. Price Foundation for quite some time. Their articles on the benefits of a traditional diet are thorough, citing independent studies and scrutinizing studies funded by big pharma and big food.

The organization’s leaders – along with the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund – have stood up for small, organic farmers many times over, because they know the power of eating real, wholesome, healing foods.

Raw milk has been proven to be effective in treating all kinds of diseases, including tuberculosis, diseases of the nervous system, cardiovascular and renal conditions, hypertension, anemia, and many more.

I, for one, can attest to the awesomeness of raw milk. I consume it every day in one form or another, whether it’s yogurt, butter or just straight milk, right out of the carton. One thing is for certain, I feel completely nourished and balanced once I consume enough.

If you don’t believe me or the WAPF, do your own research, but don’t bow down to the crony-capitalists who have government and academia in their back pockets. They don’t care about your health or wellbeing. They just want your money, and for you to be dependent on their services.

Don’t be scared your whole life

The milk mafia can try its damndest, but there’s no way I’m switching from my rich, creamy raw medicine to the pasteurized, homogenized chalk-water extracted from confined, disease-ridden cows, force-fed genetically modified slop, and pumped full of hormones, steroids and antibiotics. I’ll pass on the inferior product they call milk.

The fear mongers and brow beaters from AMA, AAP, FDA, and CDC will come out in droves to denounce anyone who drinks raw milk. They will shame us into following their “my plate” dietary regimen. And if that doesn’t work, they’ll just use the brutal, monopolized force of the state to crush their competition and eliminate one of nature’s most perfect foods.

As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. Well, I like my pudding made from raw milk, from pastured cows, from a farmer I know, as compared to the industrialized, cartelized food that’s shipped around the world, whose shelf life is forever. Thanks, but no thanks, for the advice AAP.
