sirpreis...pemphigus or impetigo?

Did your doctor confirm that you have pemphigus on your lips? Pemphigus is similar to impetigo so I get them mixed up. However, they are both caused by a problem with desmosomes.

I am interested in this because my DNA showed an abnormality with my desmosomes, which is known for skin adhesion. Since some of these conditions can be triggered by stress, hormones, or food intolerances , I do not know if my gluten intolerance had anything to do with this.

An exfoliative toxin has been identified with this type of desmosome abnormality.
