Re: Saccharomyces Boulardii - Jorge

I have done many things to cure my chronic candidiasis with temporary success. I have not doubt S. Boulardii works for some people. You have to think chronic candidiasis has several root causes, and it is really difficult to know what is the right protocol for everyone.
The last thing I have done is to take Cimetdine 400 mg 3 times a day, Zinc 100 mg, Nystatin retention enemas ( only 4 ounces in the colon after a bowel movement ) Ketoconazole 400 mg a day checking my liver every 21 days ( I did it 2 months only ) and home made kefir. I also took 400 mg of Ibuprofen diary when I took Ketoconazole.

I believe I am almost cured, at least for now. I don't know if it is going to come back. This has been my "state of the art" protocol after these years learning about it. Cimetidine and Zinc are probably the reason of my success doing it. A high dose of Ketoconazole plus Ibuprofen to revert or avoid candida acquired resistence, Nystatin retention enemas to target the colon directly without perturbing the bacteria with water enemas, and Cimetidine and Zinc as immune boosters working toward cell-mediated immunity. This is the most important in my opinion because all what I did during these years, including extreme diets, were to anywhere long term.
I have used the best of the information I have found to combat my very serious candida case. I hope this time the results last. I am not respecting any candida diet at this time and have not symptoms.

Jorge.
