But it is possible that it was not cellulitis, but a fungal infection under the surface of the skin. A dermatologist gave me an oral antifungal - terbinafine, but I had no good results. So after 10 days of trying what the doctor suggested, I stopped the medication and started applying diluted FGHP to the skin. It started working immediately. One might say that the antifungal meds kicked in just as I started using HP, which made it look like it was working. But my intuition, which I trust, tells me this was not the case.
