In terms of leaky gut, aloe vera and L-glutamine helped me significantly.
In terms of candida, I am seeing significant improvement on a low fat high carb/fruit diet. I know this is really unintuitive, but a fair number of people myself included have improved on it. In short the theory is that fat kind of gums up the works and rots in your stomach allowed for candida and other pathogens to flourish. I have no idea if it would help you, but the candida diet didn't work for me so I finally figured I had nothing to lose.
Years ago I found out I had copper toxicity, and detoxing the copper also helped me and my adrenals immensely. If you were on BC, I would suspect copper toxicity. I was on a nutritional balancing protocol which was moderately helpful in addition.
