Need help for Macular Degeneration

My wife who just had her eye examined and her Dr. said she has the beginning stages of Macular Degeneration (as of this writing, we have yet to determine if she has a wet or dry condition). I've seen one or two threads that provide info on what to do with them below:

Besides the links above, I'd like to ask if Miracle-Mineral-Supplement has any effect on reducing, if not remove the progress of Macular Degeneration and how Miracle-Mineral-Supplement can be applied to it. Of course, any other method besides Miracle-Mineral-Supplement are welcome to help my wife's condition.
