Maxime I leave the crusts completely alone, as in I do not peel my lips ever! The only thing I do is just trim the edges when they become detached. You shouldn't be removing the crusts or else it's not going to heal. When I go out I usually wear a face mask (like those flu masks) and yeah it is a little embarrassing and awkward but it would be more embarrassing to go out with the crusts on my lips. Tweet
