I was suffering with "bipolar" ll years ago. I did the GAPS diet, which wasn't exactly what I needed, but ... long story short, ... I ended up taking an antibiotic, then eating a LOT of home-brewed Kefir (I learned about Kefir from gaps, for which I am thankful) ... and ... my "mood disorder" ... DISAPPEARED. Since then I have started other things, coffee enemas and nutritional balancing, and ways of thinking, and chakra healing, etc. My point is ~ the critters in my belly were doing a serious number on my brian/mind. I'm thankful to no longer have hypomania or major depression. It was an answer to prayers.
