Do you have candida? If so, you should not be eating sweets anyway. Sugar and simple carbs feed and grow the candida population, and they actually control you when their numbers get large enough. They are hungry and need to be fed, so they make you hungry and want to be fed. Their food of choice is Sugar and flour, so voila, your food of choice becomes Sugar and flour. There has even been inroads into this phenomenon - how microbes control us from within - in mainstream medical circles lately, and it was sure true for me. For me, any flour source, no matter the type (could be almond flour, garbanzo flour, rice flour, no matter) is even worse that pure sugar for candida growth.
