Um, no, we’re not “all in this together” – not according to what I’ve seen. A few people really are here to sell a book or a product, hopefully not that many, but I’ve seen them and so have others. On the other hand, some people on the forum like Dvjorge and Mygutleaks as well as others are actually here to help those who are suffering find the path to wellness.

Actually, that isn’t exactly correct. Food can’t ‘cause’ an overgrowth of Candida per se, but certain foods can trigger the infestation which previously was simply lying in wait for the right circumstances. On the other hand, the overuse of Antibiotics or the combination of Antibiotics and food can “cause” an overgrowth of Candida albicans.

Um, again, not exactly. A “fungal growth’ does not normally reside in the gut; however, the “benign yeast” form of the non-fungal Candida is a normal resident in a healthy gut.

Oh by the way, I've read enough definitions of a "Candida overgrowth" to last a lifetime, so please, don’t give me another definition of a Candida fungal infestation; I suffered through one for over a year myself and came out on the other side of that hell without it. I’m pretty sure I know what these infestations are all about.
