vitamin C and curing cancer

It's one of those things that get me so frustrated - some of the simplest cures are the most effective. Vitamin C researcher, Steven Hickey, reports in his book on vitamin C that there are dozens of case studies of using vitamin C for cancer. In fact, one placebo controlled study showed such a distinctive difference between the patients taking vitamin C and the ones who didn't that the researchers had to end it prematurely and give all the patients vitamin C. However, as Dr. Hickey has reported, it's hard to get funding to research this b/c there's no economic incentive for drug companies and the med world doesn't like this solution.
