Re: OT) Bromine, iodine and heart palpitations
1st of all, do not ever take
Iodine without the selenium. One without the other can cause thyroid problems. I suggest you take all of your co-supplements to get the most out of your expensive iodine.
I agree with Ginagirl about Ivermectin. I once had a terrible case of Scabies which is far worse than Demodex, so I think I can offer some advice on your horror. Most people make the mistake of stopping treatment to soon, allowing the eggs to hatch and the larvae to mature to re-infect. In my case, I had to keep my treatments of D-E and grapeseed oil mix up for TWO MONTHS to be certain of killing all of the hatching eggs.
For your Demodex Mites, learn as much as you can about your enemy: Knowledge is power to kill them forever.

Especially the life cycle: After sex, the female buries into the follicle (if it’s D.folliculorum), or into a nearby sebaceous gland (if it’s D.brevis). Half a day later, she lays her eggs. Two and a half days later, they hatch. The young mites take six days to reach adulthood, and they live for around five more. Their entire lives play out over the course of two weeks. >>> This is important They take 8 days to reach adulthood. This means that treatment should continue for > 16 days to be certain of killing them all. Note they THRIVE on people with poor immune systems.

So beef up your immune system:

Tee Tree Oil must be applied for ! 4 WEEKS ! to kill them all:
"TTO ointment are effective in eradicating ocular Demodex infestation in vivo, as evidenced by bringing the Demodex count down to zero in 4 weeks in a majority of patients."

I have another opinion based on my treatment to eliminate dandruff. 4 drops of
Lugols 5%
Iodine in 1 ounce of water killed all of my dandruff in a flash. I think if you apply this treatment to your face, it will kill the demodex.
I'll bet this works, and is a lot safer than Ivermectin. If this works for you, please send me a message.
