This is my first post, actually, second. I've used Curezone for a long time as a reference and support, and I feel comfortable now sharing something I have been doing with my my own health.
Well, first I wanted to get my oral house in order because I have bleeding gums, and who knows what in my mouth. I started oil pulling for about a couple of weeks, and noticed the perpetual plaque on my lower front teeth sometimes disappeared. What I mean by plaque is the rough texture I feel with my tongue even after I brush really hard. Sometimes it would reappear. I feel I have very little plaque to begin with since I've been brushing with castile soap, but there was this one persistent patch.
Anyway, so, During this time I started eating these little ginger balls I had made from Rosemary Gladstar's herbal recipe book. I love ginger, and these were supposed to be put away for nausea, but I just could not stop eating them after every meal. The meal was an excuse to eat them. They are mainly ginger powder, carob, honey, and cinnamon. So, I started noticing that the plaque on my lower teeth completely disappeared never to return. Overall, my teeth felt slicker and glossier as if the biofilm was thickening, and I have no bad breath. It just feels like my teeth are super duper clean. So clean in fact, that I feel like I don't need to brush for days. My gums do not bleed as much.
Question: does ginger contain some sort of substance that stimulates enzymes like the oil pulling does that cleans up garbage in the mouth?
