Re: Onwards basic dewormer recipe

Meat is not the only source of parasites. Water snails are the host of many parasites which then infect many leaf vegetables, especially watercress....if you want liver flukes eat watercress!
Tiny tremotodes parasites Schistosoma are also carried by freshwater snails, tiny larvae can enter the skin and infect the blood - who hasn't paddled in a lake, stream, river?

Of course many vegetables are eaten raw for salad etc, at least with meat, it's possible to cook the hell out of it to kill any eggs.
I'm vegetarian by the way - and concur with Onwards about a 100% raw diet - it's good short-term to detox - but long-term it's not such a smooth ride.

Food isn't the only source to contract parasites, my father worked in the construction industry and would have to get a round of parasite pills from his doc after every contract working at a school - where most young kids have pinworms. Door handles etc, from any public places transmit bacterial and eggs.

Diet type and susceptibility to parasites have no correlation really when you consider the exposure possibilities...unless of course someone was an addict of sushi and that is all they ate!
