My peelings were like thick yellow sheets while I was using vaseline and I would peel them daily after the shower. After using bepanthen the peeling reduced. I started using bepanthen from last 5 months and in between I started following strict oral hygiene and peelings completely disappeared.

I used fluconazole ointment - no use (slightly beneficial effect)

miconazole+clobetasone butyrate - no use

0.1% protopic - worst

fluconazole+ hydrocortisone ointment - no use



moisturizers that worsened peelings


- vaseline

- bariederm

- biotherm - during this I developed allergy on lips

- 100% lanolin - no use

- Decubal - no effect

- many others I forgot brand names.



I accidentally picked up bepanthen in a pharmacy store one day, its just like providing external nutrition to the lips, the more I applied the more benefit I got from it. Tweet
