'In the anal region there are four different types of glands: (1) holocrine secreting
sebaceous glands, (2) merocrine, eccrine secreting sweat glands, (3) merocrine,
apocrine secreting scent-glands, and (4) specific zona columnaris eccrine glands.
''The chief mission
of these structures, however, seems to be the production of odoriferous substances
which have meaning in the identification of the animal species, perhaps in its
sexual life and in defense or offense.''
'All glands of the anal canal vary considerably among individuals in number,
form and size.'
'Some individuals have few, others many. It is believed that
those persons with a relatively large number of glands have a greater predisposition
to perianal complications than those with few glands.'
Could this be the reason a lot of us here experience more of their smell when under stress, anxiety?
Could it be that a lot of us here is caused by stress and anxiety?
My theory is that maybe a lot of us here started experiencing symptoms when we were under a lot of stress. What could of happened was the stress was generated in the stomach at first and then mitigated downwards (experiencing gaz cramping, pain) and as the subconscious was already affecting those areas because of the stress, our conscious minds then picked up and realized our stress is generated in the form of gaz, bloating, discomfort, pressure, (A.K.A embarrassing)
So now from my understanding and experience is, we start to focus down there analyzing way to much especially when we feel anxious. And because of this we have 'learned' or 'activated' or 'awakened' these glands in the anal region to secrete these scent smells in response to the stressors. Thats why we hear often people commenting that their smells increase with the stress.
So, theoretically, the solution to this would be to 'unlearn' this habit or better yet, get these glands completely removed by a qualified doctor who knows about the human anal glands. But according to the article theres not many who know about this let alone knows how to surgically remove them.
So what do you guys think?? im eager to get down to the root of this problem!
