Just because they are two different drugs doesnt mean that they cannot be compared. They are both used for the same thing. To treat inflammation. And he said that Prednisone is more potent and more effective in treating inflammation.

Im not trying to make you feel bad or anything, I was just wondering why you keep talking about Imuran and how nobody is trying it, and how you want to start treating this aggressively, but your using a pretty low potency treatment.

I was just saying I was hoping you would do it because you are the one who is always talking about it. You talk about 10 people doing it, but lets get 1 person to try it before we start talking about 10! lol

Like I said my derm doesnt think it is worth it for me at this point, so I dont really have a dog in this fight. Just curiosity. Drugs like Cyclosporine and Imuran are for patients with severe inflammation. Which I used to have (which is why he prescribed it), but I no longer have.
