I took tons of vitamin c when I had candida. I found that it helped very well with controlling the symptoms but it didn't cure anything. I think it helps because it is a very potent antioxidant. I took as much as over 50 grams per day. You shouldn't take more than 4 grams per dose, and not more than one dose every 20 minutes. If you get stomach problems lower the dose. If you still get stomach problems maybe it isn't for you or you could try magnesium ascorbate (watch it so you dont overdose magnesium, probably shouldnt take more than 2000mg of it per day) or supposedly even better although I haven't tried it, liposomal vitamin c
