If tyrosine is low, one cannot produce enough T4 and T3 which leads to hypothyroidism. So in case of low tyrosine, hypothyroidism is linked to vitiligo. Both result from low tyrosine.

Of course hypothyroidism can also result from Iodine deficiency. If there's enough tyrosine going around, then there would be no vitiligo.
