OK, but according to the Utopia tech person, there will be some colloidal content, even with shorter cook times. I cooked for an additional 1 1/2 hours so there should have been even MORE colloidal content, thus more of a yellow/amber color. *edit* I just got off the phone with Utopia support again. She has never heard of a solution changes colors 3 times as mine has. I am going to email the owner, Ben, and see what he has to say. I did check the batch with my meter to check the ppm, and I THINK I rinsed it in tap water, instead of distilled water. I then shook off the water, and blew off any remaining water until if was dry. I believe I may have checked the ppm again after the first color change. She said that MAYBE there was residue of some kind still on there that contaminated the solution and caused the silver to "fall out" of solution,... but still said it was weird that it changed colors three times. I'll post back after I hear from Ben.
