I would be interesting to see a graph mapping sperm count and Iodine intake for years 1924 until present. Iodine intake in America was probably at its peak somewhere between 1950 and 1970 when bakers commonly use Iodine instead of bromine. Iodine intake has dropped off dramatically in the past 30 years. It would be interesting to see if there is some sort of correlation between iodine intake and sperm count decrease. Yet even if true we need to remind ourselves that correlation does not mean causation.
