Re: Saliva test results. What should I do? Please help

You are right, Mikey.

I think my problem is in the mind that wants to control everything. I have to always figure everything out to be able to feel secure. I think if I understand what's happening I'll be able to fix the problem. It makes me really hopeless and scared when I feel colpletely like crap and there is no explanation why.

Of couse it's a horrible idea to take any DHEA now before I'm done with the benzo WD. It's just going to be converted into estrogen or worse - testosterone and make the imbalance of progesterone even more severe.
I case of chronic stress all pregnenolone and progesterone gets used to make cortisol, so supplementing with those is going to make matters only worse.
When I read about DHEA on the net it scared the crap out of me because they all describe it like "the fountain of youth", longevity indicator and what not - I actually feel like I'm 80 sometimes, so it started to seriously freak me out. Lol

Every recovery protocol first tells you to stop or avoid stress but in our case it's impossible - the very thing that gave us AF in the first place is still there doing its evil job - creating extreme physiological stress response and there is nothing that can be done to avoid this. Yoga helps as well as meditation and breathing but they can only lessen that response to a certain extent not completely eliminate it. We have to just wait it out and then attempt to undo all the damage.

By the way such low DHEA shows that from the physiological perspevtive the stress has been severe and ONGOING - that's how Lam describes it. in order to raise it you have to first avoid that stress itself.

I can't believe you still not sleeping... Really sorry to hear that you are so sick too. Hang in there - FB me sometimes if you are bored or want to chat:)

One more thing:
Paracetamol depletes glutathione levels and I swear taking Glutathione makes a big difference in my WD symptoms. I don't know how this works - possibly via cysteine-glutamate pathway - it actually hurts my brain when I try to understand this:). Maybe try to avoid it then?
