Hi, i'm a European running an office in India. Living and working in India was always my dream. I'm not a very social person and it's also very difficult (for most foreigners) to get real friendship with the local people because of cultural differences. So most of the time i'm alone.
As long as i'm busy in office, I don't have any problem. But in evenings when i'm alone, the thinking starts. I'm very much a thinker. And small problems become big. So to stop the thinking, i often take some drinks. Let's say 3-4 drinks, 4-5 days a week.
I know that drinking is not good and i also noticed it makes me more irritated in office.
Basically i'm very interested in living healthy, yoga, meditation, etc. I started drinking smoothies in mornings, eating lots of raw food. But still that hasn't changed my thinking in evenings. Yoga and meditation i'm not doing much due to certain health issues and not be able to relax. I always had a weak health since childhood.
So i'm wondering is there any better, healthier alternative for me than having some drinks. Something which stops reduces the thinking and relaxes in evenings?
