I've read a couple of your posts. Thanks for sharing your journey as you try to resolve this difficult and frustrating condition.

I've got the same as you. SD of the scalp causing itching and hair loss all over the scalp but mostly at the front. Also I can see some faint lesions on my scalp. It has recently spread to my eyebrows after being exclusively on my scalp for about 5 years.

Ketoconazole, Terbinafine, Coconut oil, AVC, Tea Tree oil etc have all failed to work. Ketoconazole reduces the symptoms slightly but does not cure it.

I've got a couple of questions for you:

1. You went on a 10 day water fast? Did that reduce your itching and hair loss in any way?

I'm thinking if it was candida then surely a 10 day Water Fast should kill it off shouldn't it? Can anyone else familiar with treating candida confirm this?

2. Do you still think Mercury is the cause of your problem?

3. If you think it's mercury, is the mercury directly responsible for the hair loss or via candida, and if so can the candida be killed off even if mercury levels are still high?

I'm thinking surely not everyone with high mercury levels gets candida. Most of us on the planet have Amalgam fillings.

In my case I have cut out Sugar and all carbs for one week and the itching has certainly reduced dramatically but the SD on my eyebrows and the lesions on my scalp are still there and I’m still getting some itching.

Maybe others who have managed to resolve this condition can chip in as well.
