Re: Daniel have you had a culture done on your lips?
Daniel, I resisted seeing a dermatologist for 6 years but the simple fact was my condition was getting worse, skin yellow, inner lip bright red, sticky and almost bleeding, and skin peeling every third day, and lo and behold when I finally gave up and went to the derm, my culture showed staph.
10 days into the hardcore
Antibiotics and my lips still haven't peeled in a week, and don't look yellow or feel inflamed at all. I'd say that's a significant shift. Even though we may have secondary infections, I am proof that coconut oil does not eliminate staph (it's prominent in the lip balm I have been using ad nauseum for months).
I would absolutely not take
Antibiotics or synthetic anti-fungal treatments unless I had biopsy or culture results to warrant it. And I have suspected for years that infections (and stress) hinder healing, causing the immune system to fight a battle it cannot win alone. I've thought all this time that I needed to eliminate Candida as a factor, when it's been both Candida and staph all along. Now I need to prevent Candida from returning since my gut flora has been obliterated and my body contains an abundance of yeast-loving metals.
Of course the super-bug that
Antibiotics create is not to be underestimated either. Supposedly this
Antibiotic is better than others at preventing the strengthening of the bacteria.
Peace,
C.S.
