Re: Dom's Kefir Scam Warning
I sent him the money for a product, and was informed it would be a three-week wait. After four weeks, and him not contacting me to explain why, I emailed him politely to ask what was happening with my order.
His wife [or so this person claimed] told me in a somewhat defensive manner that I ought to display some measure of patience. After waiting an EXTRA week, and then politely requesting information about why the product wasn't forthcoming, I'm to display patience - huh?
When I asked for confirmation that I'd actually receive the product sometime, I get this:
"It will definitely be sent within a week to 10 days and if anything else delays it I'll be sure to let you know."
After this period elapsed, he failed to contact me as he promised, and hasn't sent the product.
I encourage all people interested in kefir grains to give this guy a big miss. In my experience, he has failed at all levels to provide even the most basic of courtesies by keeping his "customers" informed of what's happening, and actually supplying the products he markets. If his website can't get shut down, I hope that people realise sooner rather than later that this "not-for-profit" trader is in fact a scam artist.
