From what I've seen in the view videos posted here, bitcoins can't be produced out of thin air, like I'd imagine a nwo-digital-currency would be.

Again in one video it was said, I believe it was Max, you'd have to shut down the internet to do so and even then you could save the bitcoins offline.

I 'haven't done my homework' on the subject either, so hopefully someone who did can chime in on this. Tweet
