I used to work in a "better quality dog food store" just to help out a bit with my petsitting. I would have people come in with dogs that were on deaths door from being vegitarian. They would take years to nurse back to health and if you dont get the right diet when they are forming it turns into a very painful old age.

I too love giving my dog fruit but never would limit to no raw meat. and meaty bones. Stay away from ground up bones. That is trouble waiting to happen too.

The enzymes that the raw meat produces are essential to all functions of the dog.
And the saliva of the chewing will keep the teeth clean and also aid the digestion.

I also would like to caution. its fun to play with food but I have seen some very sad stories.
