We did not vaccinate our children. They are 9 and 7 now in 1st and 3rd grade.
We live by Iowa.
MUMPS is in the news a lot around here.
We received letters from the school saying all children need to have their vaccines up to date, but they also included a copy of the form we filled out saying we had religious exceptions from vaccines.
I am not worried about the MUMPS. If our children get it, we can handle it.
What I am worried about is if anybody at the school gets the MUMPS, we will be the focus of a witchhunt.
Or worse, if our children get it first and infect others (who are "protected" from the vaccine).
MUMPS appears so easy to treat herbally. But we would become the "Typhode Mary" in the community because we do not vaccinate.
