Re: Dr. Kevin Cahill's Strengths and Weakness, what do to if you are still not well......

Great helpful and positive post.

I'm glad you found a good Dr.

Some people are too sick & poor to fight for them self. Every little successful work/research finding good Drs, the right dosage and different medication is a tremendous achievement for people that are seriously sick . It's sad that a patient has to know and do so much work just to find a Dr that will do its job.

There is no magic bullet and it's impossible to know all the health issues that someone have over the Internet. We should not judge people that are so sick.

What is the cure rate for the 2.5G or 2G 5 days Tinidazole + 1G 3 times a day of paromomycin for 10 days protocol? It's not easy to find cure rate from drug research online. We need a trusted verified source for this information.

I like to see the research that lead Cahill to prescribe lower dose of paromomycin and doxy instead of tinidazol.
IIRC Cahill told me that the lower dose of paromomycin was found to be as effective as the higher dose.

Last time I checked with a couple of hours of online research there was no mention of the doxy + paromomycin combination against EH besides what we know from Cahill. I could not find any info on the success rate of a lower dose of Paromomycin.
