Re: Crashes are now so severe - this is new to me - is this a crash?

Thanks for your thoughts, really appreciated..

The diazempan was only introduced because i quite literally hadnt slept for no more than an hour a night for the entire month. I was such a mess, and I was becoming more and more anxious about not sleeping and feeling terrible, the doctor saidid, we just need to get you sleeping and worry about the withdrawals later. They didnt really help me sleep as I was only taking them twice a week, but yes the withdrawal was hell. I know the SSRI's arent the answer, but they offer a support, not a great one true, but its something. Its hard to explain sometimes as I live on my own now, I dont really have many friends anymore, so I dont have much of a suport mechanism at all..and even when i did, people got fed up of it because i was *always* sick, so the SSRI might just give me a helping hand. Plus it might stop my anxeity and manicness going bezerk, een going the shops sends the shaking and brain fog off, its a nightmare. I know in my mind what is the correct response to situatations but my HPA has its own way of doing things now, so im constantly either depressed doing nothing, or doing solidary things like walking on my own, or to over stimulated and manic trying to engage in a social situation. OR just feeling like death and trying to push through.

Sorry, it sounds like im whining! I guess I kinda am, apologies! I am definitely upping my magnesium, Dr Lam put me off it as he told me NEVER to take any other nuitritional supplements as they cause paradoxical reactions - its all over his website and his scaremongering. HE literally conditioned me to rely on megadosing vitamin C and pantethine, which seldom have done anything productive.

I have looked at the road back, and they will be on speed dial if i go down the SSRI route and want to come off in six months or so...True when i took Zoloft for a short time, physical anxiety when bezerk but it calmed down after a couple of days. I hated ast the time thinking my whole brain was getting messed up and conditioned by them...but looking back, that was the anxiety speaking I guess.
