i have never tried this but some here have used Lugols in an eye wash. an eye cup is good to have. i bought a vintage glass one on ebay. boil it good and let it sit in alcohol after that for a couple of days. should be fine to use then.

i like salt. a salt eye bath and a salt neti to pull infection out of the sinuses, where it is probably originating. although, peopole rub their eyes all the time. staph is ubiquitous. remember, dont create the rich envirnment for pathogens and they wont take hold. you cant avoid them. doing so makes them stronger. look at MRSA in hospitals. a mosquito doesnt fly to a babbling brook and damn it up to breed in. it finds an already stagnant pool and breeds there.
