Re: Pinworms going strong for 2+ years. HELP!

I thought I'd say what the worms look like that we have incase someone can help me indentify them for sure... which drs. cannot do.

They are very small, stringy almost mucus-like. Some are clear and some are white-ish and maybe a couple inches long. I've seen some globs of white mucus passed in stools on occasion too.

The stools are just loaded with them! They never move but the entire BM is stringy with white throughout. They stretch to a point but break apart fairly easily when prodded with a toothpick.

In the morning there are eggs around the anus on my kids. They seem to migrate from anus to vagina, into nose even. I'm conviced I have a pinworm-related sinus infection right now because clear strings are coming out of my nose! nasty! :( How do you get them out of there? Tweet
