Legumes and candida

Hi I've been looking into candida for a long time, but I never thought I had it as I have never taken many drugs and it is only in the intestines... I just visited my naturopath and she said I do have candida and that I am mostly clear of parasites and overgrowth of bacteria...

She told me about the no Sugar low carb diet, but she said I need to gain about 5kgs of weight. She suggested that I replace grains with legumes, but I am just wondering if this is ok for candida? Also are nuts and seeds ok? I am so scared of losing more weight and candida was the last thing I wanted to have because of this.. How is it possible to gain any weight or even maintain weight on this diet? I also tend to become intolerant to foods I eat too much of so I don't know how to get enough calories when I have to space my food out.. I am so confused and have no idea where to start with this...
