Yes.
I found interest in this little girl in the middle;

-and remembered when we went to a Greek island for a month when my eldest son was 12 years of age. After one month in the sun the growth started; the next months he stretched 3 inches.
This was right after Iodine supplementation, so it may have influenced of course.
