Re: Bartholins Cyst: Are you too looking for a cure?

This really worked for me.
About a week ago I got my 2nd bartholin cyst. The first time I had no idea what it was and was in so much pain I went straight to the hospital and drained it. Turned out it was infected. 8 months later here I am again this time not as much pain so I knew it wasn't infected. But it def was still painful.
I tried the sitzs baths but I couldn't do it as frequent as recommended because of work and school. I tried soaking a towel in hot water and Epsom Salt a few times but that didn't work. At this point the cyst was hard and very painful! I needed something quick and effective. This forum has so many different home remedies but I was low on funds and decided this one was best. I spent 13$ at the store on calamine lotion small tube os Vaseline and whitch hazel.
I got home about 6pm.....took a 20 min sitz bath with a little Epsom salt. Then as instructed I warmed a towel in plastic back. Melted Vaseline in microwave(it took longer to melt than expected but didn't melt all the way just softened) mixed it with calamine and the whitch hazel. Placed the cotton ball on the wall of cyst just like she said to but I placed the hot towel directly on it. It had cooled down enough by the time I mixed everything. I let it sit there until the towel was cold and did it again.
At first I thought there was no hope and decided I would go to the hospital in the morning and get it drained but then as I turned over at 5am I felt a gush down there. I jumped up and grabbed a towel but it between my legs and ran to the toilette. My pj pants were soaked and the toilette had blood and gunk. The towel I grabbed was full of blood. But all that doesn't matter....IT'S DRAINED! If I could meet the person who wrote this post I would hug and kiss her.
