Hard to open minds when you preach (or rant) to the choir
I hear ya, Trapper. But here is the thing - when you rant and rave like he does you are mainly preaching to the choir when, imo at least, you should be trying to reach some people who are open to looking outside the mainstream box we have been manuevered into.
I am working on an upcoming book (probably third in line of the books I am getting ready to publish) titled "The Four Horsemen of the Modern Health Apocalypse" (preview here) . Now, part of my struggle with the book is to make it have cross-over appeal and not merely preach to the choir that is already aware of the problems. It would be oh-so-easy to talk about Agenda 21, NWO, illuminati and such - but that would turn away many who otherwise might be willing (hopefully) to open their ears and minds. So, whether folks in the choir might agree or not, I am forcing myself to take off my tinfoil hat and present it in a less controversial manner with logical indisputable facts laid out. In other word, tinfoil hat off for the most part.
Some may say that what I am trying to do is hopeless - but I am not ready to give up. A big part of my mission in life is to try to open up minds among the great unwashed - and I think that all of us should try to do the same. And hey, if we only reach a few, then that is a victory in my book. Or several small victories.
And you know what, Trapper - a single pebble can start an avalanche or a single match can start a forest fire. As Helen Keller once said:
"I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but I still can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do."
