Re: Fatigue, Weight loss, Can't tolerate supplements.
Thank you very much for your reply. I didn't worry too much about my high calcium because my doctor "ok'd" it, I guess because it was only .1 outside the normal range. But even still, it makes sense that this is what could be causing me problems. It's interesting that hyperparathyroidism can cause Osteoporosis, as I do have a few teeth that have cracked, but have not had the money to get them fixed.
I will definitely look into making a trip to tampa to get tested for parathyroid problems.
I can't imagine eventually not being able to drive, and being bed ridden. There are certainly some days that I can barely leave the house. By the end of the day I am absolutely spent and fatigued, even walking can be a chore. I know exactly how you feel and hope you start feeling better.
I would love to know more about your symptoms and the process that your illness has taken over the past few years. I feel like I have been progessively getting worse. Dropping weight, getting weaker, and now reacting badly to certain foods, and this is all while keeping a pretty nutritious, balanced diet. No caffeine, alchohol or artificial sweeteners. I hope I can get this figured out before it gets too bad.
