Fatigue, Weight loss, Can't tolerate supplements.

My symptoms seem to be getting progressively worse. I've been dealing with the usual adrenal fatigue symptoms for a few years now. I find it virtually impossible to gain weight, and instead have been progressively losing weight and muscle.

I have a good diet currently. Lots of salad, no dressing, unless it's raw oil of some kind and maybe a little lemon. Baked chicken, turkey, fish, rarely beef, and only organic if I do eat it. However I made a HUGE mistake a few weeks back by eating half of a protein bar that used Maltitol as the sweetener. Within about an hour, I started shaking, and my legs, arms and face felt prickly and numb. This persisted until the following day and began subsiding.

A few days after that I had a large meal with roasted pecans, mac and cheese, fried chicken, etc. It was a rare meal of that type. However, I reacted the same way and again, my body went numb and prickly, especially in areas that were being touched, or pressed on. This was enough to schedule a doctors appointment and get blood work. He ordered a Comprehensive Metabolic, CBC, TSH, and something to check for diabetes, all came back normal except for being .1 outside the normal range in calcium (high).

Since the episode with the Protein bar, I have not been able to tolerate Sugar whatsoever and have to be very careful about how many carbs I eat. I had a half of a gluten free bagel a few days ago and again, numbness, prickling, shaking. My body is reacting to carbs but I have no idea why. I was convinced a mistake was made with the blood test, so I bought a blood glucose meter, and used it a few times following a meal, as well as fasting, but it remained normal. 85 fasting, highest being 124 after a meal with a few carbs.

I also cannot tolerate supplements of any kind so far. I've tried Vit C, B12, Bcomplex, Stress-complex and magnesium. They tend to make me dazed, anxious and depressed at the same time.

I have no idea who to talk to about this or what test to have done.

Any help would be great.

Thank you.
