I would second the warning about a VLC diet. It's not good for chronically depressed cortisol. I did it for a long time under the guise my hypoglycemia pretty much disappeared, however everything else though got much worse.
Are you fat adapted on your VLC diet? If you've been on it for months and are experiencing similar or worse symptoms it might be time to reconsider.
Doesn't have to be a huge amount. 60g+ will keep you out of ketosis, which is where the stress on the body comes in.
