Re: Bleeding from the urethra only when I get my periods-why??

Hi guys,

I realize this thread is old, but I hope some of you might still
Be getting the email notifications.

I have the same problem after giving birth to my LG (vaginally)
And noticed blood coming through my urethera even with the "birth blood". First period after menstruation was vaginally and through the top and the next one no more blood vaginally!

How can this even be???

I did go to the doctor and he is totally baffled and called in a
Second doc to brainstorm. They could find no explanation that fit all the facts.

Do you guys have pain?
I don't have any pain durin my period (although I've now gone on the injection since I don't know what damage can be done)

I do feel a slight downward pressure on the inside of the urethera after intercourse (which I now also abstain from for fear of tearing or damaging it further)
And also when I have a glass of wine for some reason I feel a bladder infection coming on and take a fizzy which cures that immediately.

Does anyone else have the same symtoms?

I had a very easy delivery with no complications! (At the time obviously :)

If anybody has any feedback or has gotten a diagnosis please PLEASE contact me or reply here?

The next step for me is to go for a papsmear and then insert a camera through my urethera to check inside. Since its already damaged, I'm scared!

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
