2 questions, summarized at bottom of post
When you first started educating me on the Vitamin D issue, I tried to get some anti-biotics, but the DR would not give me any. I even made a copy of Marshall's protocol and took it to her. She didn't have time to read it. So I took some golden seal. But I couldn't really tell whether it did the job. And it definitely messes with my good bacteria because the yeast goes nuts if I take it for too long.
I've been hearing that K2 (menatetranone) is essential in combo with Mag Malate and D if you want your body to put calcium where it belongs instead of misusing it or something like that. Maybe I misunderstood and need to take a bottle of Gingko. Have you heard of menatetranone? Is that good to take along with the Mag Malate?
I am curious. If the body is using D and the receptors are not clogged, is D good for people?
I have been experiencing lots of leg cramps, which I was told when I managed the vitamin store, is a symptom that my muscles are leaching calcium from my bones. Dr was concerned about osteopenia. I started to get muscle cramps really bad after I decided to take some K2. Seems like it should get rid of muscle cramps if it helps calcium go to where it belongs, unless I am not getting enough calcium, maybe, so I just took some more. I didn't have any cramps before I started taking the K2m4.
I also have little shooting pains in my joints, my fingers feel like they want to curl up, I am afraid of getting a devils claw attack, my knees hurt a lot, and my finger and ankle joints are swollen when I wake up in the mornings. I was raised in the country and have definitely been bitten by oogles of ticks. A homeopath also told me that I have psoric miasma.
When I was moving recently, I found a bottle of penicillin that has been around since 04. I have 20 tablets of 500 mgs. I am tempted to take them because these joint pains are scary and I don't want them to get worse. Should I, or shouldn't I take the penicillin?
I have taken Vitamin D and cannot tell that it does anything for me. Maybe the arthritis pain is from something else, and not lyme. My grandfather had osteo arthritis. My grandmother had rheumatoid arthritis. My father has osteo arthritis. Could it be miasmic?
I definitely have a calcium issue. My gums are lumpy. I am hoping the K will get rid of that. Dr says I have osteopenia. K2m4 is supposed to help cure the gums. Mine feel about the same, but the lumps underneath might be a little better. My gums bled the first few days.
After reading about all this I am leaning toward thinking that maybe K1 is best under certain circumstances and K2 is best under other circumstances, that are dependent upon things such as source of calcium and gut flora issues.
TIA if you decide to answer. These are my questions-
1) Should I take some penicillin to see if my knees will stop hurting and joints will stop swelling?
2) Do you have an opinion about menatetranone being an essential ingredient that is needed for the body to utilize calcium correctly?
