is castor oil safe during pregnancy?

My uncle is a nutritionist and upon telling him that I am 7 weeks pregnant this morning, he told me to make sure I'm taking my prenatal of course and to start taking castor oil in a lil milk and to eat raw eggs to have easily digestible proteins readily available for the baby.

My question is about the castor oil. I see all over the internet about women using it to induce labor in overdue babies but cannot find any information about using it earlier in pregnancy except for a couple people trying to abort their babies cheaply. Ugh. As disgusted as that makes me, I do not want to risk another miscarriage. This is my third pregnancy and both others ended in miscarriage; one at 10 weeks and the other at 6 wks. My uncle knows his alternative medicine and I trust him but I find this worrisome because can't even take Smooth Move tea when I get constipated. There are ALOT of alternatives I won't go near right now and I need to know if castor oil is something else that needs to be put on that shelf??? And btw he's not talking about taking it for the laxative effect, but just for the nutritional value; the smooth move comment was just an example.

Thanks!
