I just don't understand. Spiriva & Advair are for serious cases of Asthma.

How is she going to treat her asthma attacks if she quits on these inhalers? What is your substitute? She could end up in the hospital or even die of a serious asthma attack without her inhalers.

I suffer seasonal asthma myself, and I have not been able to replace my inhalers with anything else. So I'm looking for something better myself. For the past few weeks my asthma has been TERRIBLE and my inhalers are essential, even life saving. If I don't use the inhalers, I will end up turning blue and passing out from a lack of oxygen. It has happened already. So what if they contain nasty chemicals, that is better than a trip to the emergency room or even death in case of an attack. So for sure we asthma patients need something better than inhalers loaded with chemicals, but what REALLY works?
