I have to admit I'm not familiar with his background. I just liked what he had to say and felt it was truthful and wise.

There isn't a mining operation in the world that doesn't make deals over mining rights with the local government and assume the political risk of the nationalization of their investment. It's just the nature of mining but somebody has to do it.
