Re: First NB hair test results
first let me just say that when I got my
Amalgams removed I went on these boards and the FIRST person who caught my attention is a guy under the name "SUNSHINE" and I wrote to him and we became fast friends. he was WAAAY ahead of me in comprehending all of this and explained the best approach to healing the body through cleanses and keeping things as natural as possible, when possible.
it was from him that I learned about ACE and how to not only use it, but also to make sure to give my body certain vitamins to rebuild the adrenals in the process.
and happy to say we are BOTH off of ACE today.
I tried the two other brands that most use (sorry, can't remember them right now) but didn't feel anything. for me it was Adrenergize that did the trick. it suggests 1 pill. for me it was 4. and if it was a high stress day 5 capsules per serving. in the morning and early afternoon.
I think I was on it for about 6 months.
if I were starting today, I would try out the label brand by Vitacost.com only because they have the same label as Adrenergize and at the amount I needed...it's costly.
oh, and I tried "adrenal extract" which is the whole Adrenal and it was a nightmare because my body couldn't handle the extra adrenaline. yiiiikes!
for myself and Sunshine, we got off of them pretty effortlessly. I just stopped taking them because I didn't FEEL the need (which is to say my temper wasn't explosive) and for Sunshine he started getting some weird pangs and didn't know which supplement was causing things to go haywire until he stopped all of them and when he restarted the ACE he knew he had to cut back, but even at a low dosage he felt weird so he stopped only to THEN realize his body was making its own and the additional supplementation was THE PROBLEM.
I highly recommend this book:

one other product I still use that I attribute to being super helpful is "fatigued to fantastic energy revitalization" as my daily vitamin. it is just a powder that I make a drink out of. Mary Shomon, as well as the two well known thyroid specialists that are married to each other (iiikes, I can't remember their names) also rec it as being the best for basic daily intake. it has so many different amino acids that it really covers a lot of bases I might not have thought I needed...
yes, I realize you didn't say you had a thyroid problem but they are so interdependent that you definitely need them strong.
as for your adrenal...have you been taking your temperatures to chart what is going on? I am assuming you know that the temp should be erratic the worse your adrenals. it is a great way to see improvements with whatever modalities you use to address them.
