Re: When to pull
Cora, did you check out my post a couple of threads below yours? I have sinus problems throughout my life and I tried explaining it in as much detail as possible. It controls my sinus problems, and on pace to cure it. But it looks like it can take years at this rate, but it controls it really well enough for me to live my life much more peacefully. And yes, for me, time of day is REALLY IMPORTANT. I skipped the mornings before, and the mouth became more and more like it was before OPing. Coconut oil is important for me too. Sesame oil does not work for me, but that is not to say that the opposite is not true for you. For you, it is entirely possible that sesame is effective and coconut is useless.
My sinus problems may be different than yours as well. It is the germs in my mouth that crawl up into my nasal passage that inflames my membranes and that causes itchiness and inflammations that makes me sneeze uncontrollably throughout the day every other day.
My father has sinus problems too when he was younger. I never saw him with sinus problems but coconut oil doesn't seem to work for him. I got him to oil pull and he said he doesn't really feel much of a difference, though he did lose the 2 front teeth of the lower jaw before he ever started to oil pulled. He tells me that he cured his sinus problems through eating lots of raw garlic. I tried to get me to eat raw garlic at one time, but it never helped my sinus problems. He was so convinced that garlic cures sinus problems, every time I had a day where I had sneeze attacks, he would ask if I ate any garlic. It was so ANNOYING! He was just absolutely convinced that garlic worked. I kept trying to explain to him that my problem was the germs from my mouth that has festered during my night's sleep crawled up to my nose that caused my sinus problems. He somehow has a hard time believing it because garlic has convinced him otherwise. I guess medicine really is a religion.
In any event, what I am trying to say is that coconut oil may or may not work for you. But it sure as hell worked for me! Perhaps raw garlic will work for you. I wrote my story in the most absolute detail because I know that it might work well for someone and I may have helped cure someone in my situation. But simultaneously, I let the people know that it could be a completely different solution for a person with similar symptoms. The body works in so many different ways it seems.
